Bobby is a nickname. Let him be a Robert; that sounds more professional and adult for when he grows up. You can call him Bobby of course, when he is little.

my nephew's name is Robert Carrington, Carrington being the middle name. We always called him Bobby. He grew up got married and had a little boy, they named him Robby Carrington.
