The sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me was to try to defend my honour.
When my hubby was having an affair no one had the guts to tell him what he was doing was wrong most are afraid of him cause hes a bodybuilder. One guy had the guts to have a go at him and told him off in front of alot of people, he told my hubby that he was no man and a disgrace to carry on when he had 5 kids and a wonderful woman at home.
My hubby could have easily pulverized this guy but he stood up for me any way. I dont even speak to the guy he is my cousins friend. Id Love to thank him but hes normally a quiet person and im a very shy person in real life.
I thought it was really sweet.

I was a kid who never meet her father growing up. I had a male science teacher who made me feel loved. Everyday when I came to class, he would ask for my glasses, go to the sink, wet a $20 bill and clean them for me before the start of class. This made me feel like, for that 50 minutes that I was in his class, my work was extra special and important.

This this grade school lesson was so valued and it left such a tremendous impact on my life. Now I live to help inspire and help youth to discover their worth. Today, I wish I could find him to let know what the true value of a "$20" bill really is.

About 5yrs ago, I had this friend, was like my big brother, he was 7yrs older than me and I had a crush on him. And I think he still knows I do, but not just was i the first girl to who he gave his cellphone nr. but one day this guy at a party hurt me, by squishing my hand, and then when i got back to my parents internet cafe i sms'd him via ICQ and i told him and he said that if that dude touches me again he is going to break is legs for him. Later him and his buddies came to the internet cafe to fetch his charger, and they gave me a lift home. I guess back then when i was only 13 and it was just so super sweet of him, i'll never forget how it felt.

An actual THING? Last night someone made me a cup of tea. That's the only thing anyone's done for me in recent memory. People think I'm so capable of doing things for myself that they forget how nice it would be if I didn't always have to ..... *sigh*

I recently received a birthday card from a friend I haven't heard from in about 10 years. I don't know where he lives (it's a complicated story. He's gay and basically his bf made him choose between him or me ( I desest his bf for making him choose) But anyway, just the fact that he remembered my birthday, and that he signed it with a personal touching quote that meant a lot to both of us. I almost burst into tears. I miss him.

Back when we were dating we lived a 3 hour drive apart from each other. I wasn't feeling well and my husband drove for 3 hours in the middle of the night to come and get me and take me with him back to his home. He worked the next day and getting me took away a whole nights sleep.

Ken, one of my colleagues was working on the late shift the other night and I was night shift.

When he saw me come in he smiled and told me that he'd kept me some broth and rice pudding because he knows I like them.

What he didn't know is that I'd had nothing to eat all day and was famished so I was very grateful .... The broth was delicious; very salty with huge chunks of ham in, just like I like it. That's possibly why, the ham had made it saltier and saltier as it was sitting waiting for me.

No tinned rubbish for our ladies and gentlemen, our chef makes all their meals himself.

There are lots of things that spring to mind like my husband cooking and cleaning for me when I was ill, my daughter making me a picture and telling me it was for me only as she loves me.

But I think the best was my mother in law agreeing to sign the marriage register when I got married and finally accepting me as the daughter she never had!!
