"like to do" used mostly when you are choosing among some options and will like doing in future. "like doing" is what you generally enjoy.

ones' got the infinitive form of the verb ( to do )
one's got an active part of the verb (doing)

Usually tense. "I would like to do hang-gliding" "Hang-gliding is something I like doing"
