I just bought some cloth that I had stitched into an outfit. The catch is that I know the cloth is going to run when I have it washed. Is there some way I can set the dye so that it does not run when washed?

White Vinegar will set color. It is what you soak your needle point in to prevent the colors running. Just soak it for about an hour. Wash it with Woolite and let it air dry.

I agree with above, and also use the gentle cycle. The regular cycle will scrub out the dye.
