becase Chandu Borde has the reputation to
forget names
he called ganguly....as gourav ganguly ...not sourab..
so we can expect mahender sing tendulkar from him
which is good enough to make player laugh.....

While Chandu Borde can be a good Manager, I wonder how effective he will be in the role of a coach because of age factor. However, since there are bowling coach and fielding coach, his role as a coach will be limited to giving guidance and advice to players on batting technique, improving mental toughness, dedication, fighting spirit, team unity etc., which I hope he will be able to do as age should not be a problem for that.

Age is not a detriment for anyone to inspire a team. If we can have Presidents, Prime Ministers or ministers in their 70s to lead our nation, what is wrong in having the aged Borde as the Indian cricket team's manager? Borde's experience as a test cricketer can not be overlooked. Mild mannered and soft spoken, he can inspire the team in his own quiet way. We must wish him success.

At present situation of BCCI ( they make a phrase for selection of a Coach ) there is no alternative way. So, Chandu Borde not bad.

When Greg can get Rs 800,000/month, why not give a fraction to older cricketers, who never had the chance to get some hefty amount. This can be like a benvalent amount. After the English series, other old cricketers can be given the post of coach.
Coaching Indian cricketers is like coaching wall to paint itself. Just relax.
With vast experience around, I think Azhar would be a fitting choice. He knows exactly whom and when to bribe - the only way to win matches - correct
