For starters, I think the movies you are looking for the endings to are "Tristan & Isolade" then "Free Willy 3"

From the first film @http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tristan_and_Isolde_(film)

" Although Marke is kind to Isolde, her heart belongs to Tristan, who is torn between his love for Isolde and his loyalty to Marke, a man whom he has loved as a father. The couple eventually begin an affair behind Marke's back which is later discovered by rivals of the king, weakening his position and setting off a new war with Ireland (abetted by the traitorous Lord Wictred). Marke is at first angry but softens after hearing Isolde explain her history with Tristan and offers them the chance to run away together. Tristan chooses instead to stay in England and fight for his king. Called away to battle against Donnchadh's forces, he is mortally wounded in combat by Wictred and eventually dies in Isolde's arms. Isolde sees to his burial, and plants two willows by the grave which grow intertwined; she then vanishes and is never seen again."

Plot for "Free Willy 3" from Wikipedia:

"Jesse is 16 and works as an orca-researcher alongside his old friend Randolph. They suspect that Willy and his pod are being hunted by whalers posing as commercial fishermen. Aboard just such a ship -- The Botany Bay -- Max (10) takes his first trip to sea with his father, a whaler from a long line of whalers, and learns the true nature of the family business. During his first hunt, Max is thrown overboard and is saved from drowning by Willy. From here on, Max is pitted against his own father, teaming with Jesse and Randolph to save Willy from becoming $200/pound"

There are SO MANY. When looking films I can cry on the drop of a hat. Way to sentimental. You've Got Mail is one. The Bucket List is one other and a couple of thousand extra. In the guide, The Far Pavilions" the saddest facet is close the top. I've learn it 3 or 4 instances and now I cry earlier than I get to that facet since I realize what is coming. Silly me.
