I've reinstalled the OS on my notebook (HD failure), no longer have the original recovery discs and cannot find the drivers on the sony site.
Main issue is that the Function keys no longer work (the way Sony has implemented this in Vaio) without HKServ application. I will require the Shared Library in order to resolve the issue...problem is, I cannot find the drivers to download and not looking to spend 25$ for drivers that should be avail for free. Machine model is PCG-GRX5P

NOTE: I've replaced the Hard drive due to failure and did a clean install of Win XP. I no longer have the original source files - no recovery disc, not on file system, not on Sony site

This is an Asian-Pacific computer. Go to the link and follow it down to the flashing laptop. Next screen it asks for the model and yours is in there. It's the best I can do. Now the rest is up to you.

Use your Recovery disks, if included with your PC*, not a generic XP disk.

*The Recovery disks may be ON the hard drive, RTFM.
