I'm a real people person and i'm hugely fascinated by people's lifestyles.

I live in England. The weather here is boring and dull and we usually get about 6 weeks of sunshine a year. We get a LOT of rain. It's raining now.

What's it like where you live?

I always imagine american users to live in the kind of houses you see on Desperate Housewives and other shows, like a TV advert, all nice front lawns, porches and homemade food everynight. Probably living near a beach, and life is one big partaaay!

I imagine Australian users to always enjoy hot weather and live somewhere fairly rural.

I imagine users from Asia to live in a really high tech city full of neon lights.

What's it really like?

we live in the suburb area, and most of it is either old houses, liek 80-100 years old, liek 3 stories. the cheaper ones are kinda shabby, mixed with new 3 deckers. and the nice ones are all laywers and dentists offices in rich areas. no one has a yard here anymore, cause the land is really expensive, everee one sells their yard to make a nasty, one floor beige box house. so thats the kind of neighborhood i live in. i live in a shabby old victorian era house, weth 3 deckers, newer one floor houses, and old old barber shops and bakerys turned into houses around us. we're lucky tho, we have a back yard, most of the older houses do. the newer houses mostlee used to be a back yard!!
the rich neighborhoods, all have neat grass in the front and nice nice houses liek u describe.
the real poor neighborhoods are mostlee 3 deckers, shabby and not shabby.

yah, its real nice here, people speak weth an accent, they dunt say their "Rs" pak the cah in the yahd. lol liek that. they are kinda gruff, but decent people when u get to know them. we have awesome seafood, and the beach is liek 40 minutes away.
we have like the classic four seasons, winter, spring, summer, fall. and the leaves are really nice in New England in fall, losts of people go driving to see the leaves in the countryside, pretti qaunt, little white churches on the hill an all that..
yah! thats all i cen thenk of haha *smiles*

I live in the Midwestern United States. My wife and I and our 8 kids live in a 4 bedroom 2 and a half bath house on about a quarter of an acre of land. We experience the 4 seasons, not a lot of snow last year, but we got some. We do have a front porch that we sit on in the evenings the lawn is well maintained when I get around to mowing it! We don't have homemade food every night, but just about every night we do. Definitely not one big partaaay as you imagine, but it is a very comfortable life.

I'm an American, I live in Pennsylvania. I've never watched Desperate Housewives, so I can't tell you if my house is similar or not. I'm guessing no. My lawn is nice enough...I don't have any prize-winning shrubbery, but I keep the weeds to a minimum and the grass fairly short. I do have a porch. I don't make homemade food, because I'm a bachelor, and thus most of my diet comes from the microwave or paper bags. I'm hundreds of miles from the beach, and my life is a series of smaller get-togethers, as opposed to one big partaaaayyyy.

I live in California in the US and right about now it's hot as heck! Today was about 100 degrees! And not all Americans live in those nice "desperate housewives" type homes; in fact many people just in the city i live in are homeless or very poor, but i live on the northside of my town where it's a bit nicer. And many Americans right now are stuck on fast food like McDonalds and whatnot. I do live near a beach and i do party alot with friends from college but we have a lot of problems with vandalism and things like shootings. Even though we have our problems, the part of town that i live in is beautiful, the fog rolls over the dunes and later on in the day it gets nice and warm. i always go out for a walk on the beach after my classes are over and sometimes if i feel like it, me and my bf will set outour sleeping bags in our yard where it rolls off on to a strech of the beach and just fall asleep outside. it's so nice to hear the waves crashing.

i am in asia.we have only two kinds of weather.either it is raining or sunny but most of the time...we have summer all year round.i think that it would be normal for ppl on your side of the world to want to live where i am as i would like to live where you are...both places have its pros and cons but we asians do not live in a ...that only exist in the movies/comics/magazines.we basically live like the rest of the world too as i am sure that not all americans live like the ppl in and the australians live in the rural areas.we have normal looking houses and goes through normal lives...the best thing about living in asia is that...we get to wear cool summer clothes all year round = )

How witty! enable's see, i'm going to bypass with people who have been authentic Yankees. None of those "weapons for hire" like Reggie Jackson. To me he's not probable a real Yankee. How approximately Whitey Ford or Ron Guidry or Bernie Williams or Derek Jeter or Yogi Berra? guess i could could desire to bypass with Yogi.

I live in Australia; & unless you live way out in the country its nothing rural. Lol.
We dont always have hot weather, only usually in summer & spring, which can get around to an AVERAGE of 40 degrees celcius. Haha. And we do have the occasional hot days even in winter, but nothing up to 40 degrees like in summer.

For the record; we dont ride in kangaroos pouches as a source of transport ;D

I live in Louisiana, US. The weather over here right now is hot, and we get rain every now and then., which turns the air super moist. My neighborhood is sort of like Desperate housewifes ( I never watched the show though... saw a commercial though.), it's a quite street.

I live in south Asia

It's always hot here, tropical climate. When it rains, it really pours. If it doesn't rains, it feels like desert Very sick of the heat right now.

The city in my hometown here isn't all too high tech. There are neon lights but cheap ones.
