No one is ever HAPPY over a war. A war is a horrible thing...but sometimes you can't turn away from it....much as we would like to. One thing that I know many Americans are NOT happy about is how the war is being handled. We have placed too many constraints on our troops. When you don't fight to win, no one wins.

Those that are so naive to believe that America and Britain are saviours of the world and are wielding the Christian sword against the infidels would be happy..The Americans who dont want their sons and daughters in coffins or damaged and also dont want more 9/11s .These people wont be happy.The argument that we are ridding the world of a tyrant does not ring true when we have created a worse situation.Those that say its for monetary gain are happy as it it in their opinion prove this theory..Americans on the whole are not war mongers in my opinion

Whether they like it or not, these wars are a compulsion for them for their survival as well as prosperity. They can escape these wars in the long run by showing willingness to change lifestyles now.

War is pointless, just think about the parents who get there sons and daughters back home in a coffin, and its the same thing for the people we are fighting, they have parents too, sad or wot.

The one's losing loved one's probably aren't but those emplyed in the arms and related industry probably are, no more wars=no more jobs-savvy?

No. Iraq is too expensive and Bush has no plan to get us out. Plus, we've foolishly shifted attention away from fighting al-qaeda in Afghanistan and they've increased their operations five-fold and de-stablizaed that territory.
