Is it better for an animal to die in the wild or safe in a cage for its life?

It is better for an animal to die in the wild, not in cages, by poachers or the likes.
In the wild, at least they died naturally, which is the natural flow of nature. My heart bleeds whenever I see animals in cages...they're not supposed to be there at all, except when it's for a good cause and if they are taken well cared of.

Well in the wild they are in their natural habitat, but sometime they are safer in zoos and cages since they protect animals from harmful things in the wild, i would choose the cage, no offense

Well... if you look at it from the viewpoint of an animal in captivity, then I don't think it's a big deal. The purpose of animals in captivity is to help them procreate and make more of their species. If it's a tiger in a cage at a circus.. No. That's not right.

Those fish are usually fresh water tropical fish and would die in the wild.

in the wild predators make short work of a sick or slow animal .
the gage maybe safer ,the wild is life ,cruel but free.
for some freedom is everything

oh this is such a controversial question. i think, in my own opinion, that i would rather see an animal living in a cage safely, then be in harm in the wildlife.
