depends what colour the blood is.
if it bright red, and fresh blood, you might have just dropped a huge bog, and slightly torn your anal sphincter, thats nothing to worry about. just clean your bum in the shower, and try and keep i clean so it can heal.
if its dark red, and looks like coffee grinds, or is granular, get it checked out real quick! could be a number of problems, like colon cancer, cancer of intestines, might be a bad ulcer, might be a bleed in the stomach.
so bright = torn ring, no sweat. (stop pushing so hard - just be cool, and go with it)
dark red / granular - big problems, consult doctor / mortician.

When a woman is on her period some of the blood can run toward the back area around the back side such as when we lie down.
But other than that no a bit of blood is not normal to come out. It can be a sign of something called hemorrhoids (this occurs when someone tries too hard to push the stool out when they go to the bathroom) or things like polyps (these can lead to cancer for many if not caught early enough). It can also mean other diseases or disorders of the bowel are going on.
If one suspects bleeding that is going especially for a time this needs to be evaluated by a dr to see what the cause of the bleeding is.

in most cases there should be concern when you see blood in your 'poo',and as usual this is a matter of how often blood is present.if you are constipated and have to use effort to ease yourself a tear can occur at the anus and exhibit some blood.
my experience in eating a lot of watermelon or tomato give a semblance of blood in the stool.however, when in doubt, see your doctor.a few simple tests will determine the cause and maybe a life saver.

No, like the other person said. It's not normal. Unless you know the cause such as minor tearing due to anal play and it doesn't last more than a day or two, see a doctor asap.

No, it is not normal. It could be due to rectal tears, bleeding ulcers, or a myriad of other medical issues.
