if finding the meaning of life was the purpose of life, i'd be done with life and be dead. my purpose is to always try to seek and God's will for me, knowing it's all part of His grand plan. He gives us gifts so that we can use them, in our own unique way, to better serve Him. he allows troubles in my life to prepare me for future challenges. how can i regret anything, when it all led up to me being the person i am today? it's all about spiritual growth for me. being a believer in reincarnation, i think i signed up for certain lessons i was willing to learn before each new lifetime. ultimately, when God feels i'm ready, i'll go to heaven.

Can you describe a rainbow without colors? So you cannot describe life without meaning either. Life is replete with meaning. Everything you do counts. Every word you speak has is effect. Every thought that enters your mind lives eternally.
Your soul is the sum product of everything you do, every word you speak, and every thought that enters your mind. There is no such thing as a wasted prayer, or a fruitless love. Therefore take heed about how you nurture your soul. Seek truth, practice love and relish everything in this world that is beautiful.

What is more important than meaning is the question of where our great need for meaning arises. There are only two possibilities:
1) There is a God who created us and He gave us this need for our lives to have meaning.
2) The mindless process of evolution put this need for meaning in our heads eons ago in order to force us to behave in a certain way that was important at the time.
If you think there is a God, then God probably uses our need for meaning to point us to Him. So seek God.
If you think there is no God, then our need for meaning, purpose, love, honesty, courage, and everything else is just evolution forcing us like slaves to behave in some way.

In all honesty, and that i comprehend this sounds undesirable, yet i fairly might want to willingly stay in a delusion of religion really than what the planet is in the different case. I see classified ads on buses and pay interest to atheists telling me 'existence is for living' and to in ordinary words 'get on with my existence' - if there isn't any God, no form of justice contained in the international, the position undesirable those who die satisfied is not really punished, then i see no rationalization for being component of this depressing international. Lives of starving toddlers are meaningless blips, the position someone has come into the state of existence basically to wade through - and then you want to inform me that's oblivion for them afterwards? I want my loony faith. a minimum of mine has a contented ending.

This is a hard one.
The meaning of life is to get to nirvana, or heaven, or enlightenment or whatever you want to call it. The only way you can do this is to be happy, which is only acheivable when you help other people to be happy. If everyone helped everyone else to be happy, then we would all reach heaven etc. Thats my opinion anyway.

I say its experience. Its a gift god gave us and we should live it to the fullest. We come from god experience life then we go to either heaven or hell based on what we did. Its almost like we live to find out where our final resting place is.

The meaning of life is beyond human comprehension. That is something I believe we will not find out till after we die, by then it will not matter.
