There are a lot of great J- Horror movies .......
Ringu 2(not the ring 2)-Cursed-Infection-Merbito- Spider Forest- Don't Look Up.
They are not big budget Hollywood movies but if you want a good scare I recommend these.

Although the plot wasn't, like, the best, The Abyss was pretty creepy as well as suspenseful. It's out on DVD.
