...but in "closed primary" states, only Republicans can vote on nominating a Republican candidate. If you're NOT a registered Republican, would you consider registering as a Republican to vote for Ron Paul in the primary (then vote for whomever you want in the general election)?

Oh yeah... Hillary voted FOR the war.
Ron Paul voted AGAINST it.

I think Ron Paul appeals to ALL Americans who are tired of being lied to by Congress, and sold down the river with deficit spending.

If you think about it, Congress taxes us, then uses tax money to buy votes so they can stay in power and steal even more of our money. All the "social welfare" programs haven't cured anything. In fact, they have created a permanent underclass.

Frustrated Democrats who are sick of being misled might see much to admire in Ron Paul - just as Republicans who are tired of the neo-cons would welcome a return to the Constitution!

I'm a registered Libertarian. I would consider changing party membership just to vote for Ron Paul. Maybe Fred Thompson.

I think it's great if Ron Paul is appealing to Democrats, but he's so *not* a Democrat. His anti-war position does not a Democrat make, folks!

Ron paul is great and he is the only major politician in america who had the guts to mention how our government helped to take out the demicratically elected president of iran
mossadegh (time magazines man of the year in 1953 or 51) because he wouldnt give us and britain 51% controlling interest in iranian oil, which led to us planning secret operations to take him out of power and install the puppet shah which eventually led to the backlash of the iranian people which led them to allow the extremist khomaine to grab power which led us into our situation today with iran.

Ron Paul would be a great president but unfortunately the power elite wont back him so he wont be elected. Hes way to honest to become president

Ron Paul appeals to any one tired of the politicians(magicians!) of the repubie/demo party! A lot of "orphans" filing into the Libertarian ranks at present as they can no longer stand the bilking & deception of the "magicians".

It really does not make any difference who he appeals to. The man cannot get nominated. He is not considered winable by those who run the party, and winning is everything.

Only if I lost all my integrity and honor.

What a cowardly way to support our republic.

What an effective way to undermine the votes of thousands in a totally unAmerican way.

Oh, I'm a democrat. You don't speak for me.
