First of all, I would just like to say that I hope that *if* you are having sex (including oral), that it is SAFE sex! Use Condoms!!!
That being said, I think it's often personal taste. Some women, I'm sure, don't mind it the way it is, while others prefer it trimmed or shaved.
I think that for "regular" sex, it's not a big deal if it's still long. But for oral, shaved or trimmed is better so that the hair doesn't get in the way. Just make sure you do it carefully, though!!! Good luck.

It's not just a question of what "girls" like (some like one thing and others another, and most probably aren't shallow enough to like or not like you for such a superficial reason) -- pubic hair has several important functions.
1) It is a sign of sexual maturity. Women know that a man with pubic hair is old enough to have sex and father a child.
2) prevents chafing, so keeps you more comfortable
3) provides warmth in cold weather and helps air circulate to keep you cool in summer.
4) Most important, keeps air circulating to prevent possibly dangerous infections, both fungal and bacterial, which thrive in moist areas with poor air circulation. These infections can also cause foul odors, even if they are not yet established enough to cause a rash.
5) can stimulate the clitoris during sex.
Trimmed hair can allow some air circulation, but the blunt tips can irritate both your skin and your partner's skin. The naturally tapered ends of untrimmed hair are silky and don't poke.

A word to the wise: Keeping it shaved makes it look bigger....even if its an optical illusion, it works. Not only that, but there are very few chicks that are going to say no to "oralizing" a bald unit. Also, be advised, most women today either trim or shave completely (although there is the "landing strip" which is a little of both). So with any luck Your Kojak is going to be hooking up with her Sinead Oconnor.

Are you getting any? When you are, ask your partner what she prefers. All girls have different preferences. Some girls don't like it, others do. Trimming is good but I think shaving is a little freaky.

I don't like flossing my teeth with it, but hair is a natural thing. If you can braid it, then it is too long.

Don't get rid of it. Trim it if you feel it's too much, but don't get rid of it.

shave. trim first and then shave. shaving long ones sucks.
