Part of the problem is fan loyalty. I remember the Cubs in the early 60's. They were terrible. Yes they had Ernie Banks, Billy Williams & Ron Santo but that was it. No one went to the park. So the Cubs got Durocher as manager. Got Jenkins, Beckert, Kessinger, to name a few. The Cubs started winning and the park filled up. Maybe if the fans stopped coming, stopped watching then on tv, stopped listening to them on the radio they would do the same.

Hey now... the Cubs were at the World Series in 1945. They haven't WON in about 100 years. And it's not the fans that are losers, it's the Cubs, but us Cubs fans are not just fair weather fans. We're loyal -- win or lose.

Cubs fans are so loyal. The cubs could be 12 under .500 and in last place and Wrigley would still be packed. But that was really messed up when all those Cubs fans called Bartman an asswhole. It wasn't his fault. You would have done the same thing.

well lets see... their lack of winning surely puts them in a sore position. They have to blame their losses on black cats, billy goats, and years of curses, bad owners, and everything else in-between. They cant just suck it up like us sox fans the years before winning the championship and now after we won the championship and say wow our team is definately not clicking. as a sox fan today i can say that our sox are not doing good. once they find a rythm well start winning, while a cub fan would say "the weather isnt nice enough" or some other lame excuse for the cubs to lose. :) have a nice day cubs fans

It's always fun to watch the Cubs win or lose. The ballpark atmosphere at Wrigley is just amazing and it's really what makes being a Cubs fan so great. Look how long it took the White Sox and Boston. 86 years. Cubs will win it eventually. Anyways, it's more fun to watch the loser try to win than the winner consistantly win.

Yea, you've been a Mets fan since '06, cool loyalty. If I were you, Id worry about them all landing on the DL and the current funk they are in, which only looks to continue against the Yankees this weekend. I hate the yanks but you guys are dead.
