Get the Xbox 360. The graphics may not be as good but it has better games like halo 3

problem with the Xbox 360 for me is that i don't trust them to last!!! the Xbox power and reliability failed way before the PS2. But if you still can't decide there is the Wii. I have got one and it just kick ***!!! but i prefer PS3 over Xbox 360.

XBOX 360 definitely i used to always buy playstations but since i got my 360 its that awesome i would never get another playstation

They're both very good,. I'd say, look at the price of games, extras, compatibility issues, connectivity etc,.. what they both have to offer as far as games are concerned and how you like the controllers,. they're both very different, and you may LOVE the graphics on ONE, but the controller on it may be awkward for you,.. practise on both in an instore set-up and get a feel for them. Don't just go by graphics alone. :) That's my advice. :)
