Have seen and heard of a lot of great proposals, but one of the best was when a cop had his fellow officers seriously pull over his girlfriend and make her get out of the car right on main street during rush hour. After they had her sufficiently nervous, he snuck up and and did the proposal on one knee.

The crazier and more personal you make it, the better it is! Let your imagination wander and think of a way that will create a forever memory to bring a smile to your face on your worst day. Best of luck to you!

I'm partial to rowing a boat out to the middle of a lake at sunset. A good conversation about your times together and the love you feel. Then, when the time is right, propose. I feel it should be simple and intimate. It should be something just the two of you experience and share. Champagne, picnic, a flower? You can include those things if you like. Just don't stand up in the boat!!!

It's not the place, but the acceptance of all she is as a human being- faults, flaws and fantastic attributes that make this so special! Engage her senses.
Do you have music that especially makes you think of her? Record it or download it so it can be playing.... hearing.

A favorite dinner you have shared or restaurant you have visited? Go there.... taste.

Have her favorite flowers for their scent or wear a favorite cologne....... smell.

Hold her face in your hands or her hands against your chest to feel the beat of you heart.........touch.

Your face as you propose should fill her eyes with wonder and anticipation......sight.

whatever you do it has to be personal. Think of things that make her smile, think of the places you had your firsts,Don't plan too many things. You don't want her overwhelmed so when you do propose it gets overshadowed. My husband knew I love nature. We hiked to the top of this ridge that looked over the valley. As we stood looking at the valley he proposed. It meant a lot to me, because he knew my love for hiking and simplicity. If he would of done a huge dinner and getting dressed up it wouldn't have meant as much. Good luck.....

Tell her to dress up really nicely (or how ever u wish) take her to the park and pop the question. The old putting the ring in her favorite food is awesome (i just hope she doesn't eat the ring...LoL)

Bring it up as a suggestion like, "Wouldn't it be great if we were married?". or just ask her. Most woman would love to get married, that's what they dream of.
