I love my fiancee very much. But last weekend, I was out of town visiting my dad. He missed me, I missed him. Typical and normal, you know? Thing is, I don't get to hang out with him during the week because my sister (whom I live with) works from 4am-12pm. So she sleeps during the day. I don't have a license or a car yet. So I stay home so she doesn't worry--she doesn't hear the phone ring when she is sleeping. She worries that something will happen and I'll need her and not be able to get through. So, I stay home on weekdays when she works. Unfortunately, due to family business, I haven't been able to spend the last three consecutive weekends with him. Now my other sister wants me to spend NEXT WEEK in Sacramento with her. That's several hours from here. My fiancee has to work, otherwise he would come with. He wants me to wait a couple of weeks, to give us a chance to spend some time together before I leave yet again. Is he being to posessive and clingy, or am I being too unsensitive?

I am eighteen years old, fully able to do as I please, but the thing with my sister is a respect thing. She lets me live with her for free, and I respect her by sticking around instead of being out and about when she's asleep.

I think he has the right to want to spend some time with you after 3 weeks!!! If you are old enough to have a fiance, then where does the sister sleeping so I can't go out thing come from?
More info is needed before advice is given. How old are you? Is there a cultural restriction taking place? What do you want to do?
Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
