Does anybody else think there should be a new Lilly (if that now boring character continues). There is nothing wrong with the actor playing her, but, she is Indian and does not look the part of an African American and is miscast for the character of Lilly. I see any chemistry with her and Daniel.

Yes, French Cuffs, I know she was there, re-cast and came back. I think there needs to be a *new* re-cast.
It is nothing personal about her - she is a good actor, but, just is not the correct casting to cast an Indian in the part of an African American - she just doesn't fit the part and I don't think there is any chemistry or WAS any chemistry with Daniel.

She is (half) Pakastani, sorry mis-spoke. Again, it's nothing against her - she is attractive, but, she just seems miscast

She is the original grown up Lily. That Davetta chick was just a replacement stand-in. And where are you getting info that she's indian? She's not! She's mixed just like all the rest of the blacks on Y&R. Her father is Pakastani and her mother is half black/half white.

I liked the lily that they had i think it was last summer. the one that looked to me more like Dru. I think she did a great job brought some attitude to the character too. Then they brought the old lilly back. i was wondering if the reason why they took her off in the first place was so she could take some acting lessons but i guess not cause she is still horrible.

I have to agree with French Cuffs and D Love. This Lily is the original Lily, the other girl was just as stand by for a while and I didn't like her at all (the other Lily). I like Lily and all I just wish they would get over the porn thing and move on to something else. The porn story line is getting a little stupid and boring.

It's weird because I liked this Lily when she first appeared and I thought she and Daniel had really good chemistry, but I haven't felt that since she's been back. Davetta was ok, but it took her too long to get into the role. I liked her once she did. They wont do anything anytime soon so just get used to her being there.

Agree. I didnt know she was from Pakistan I just knew she wasnt African American. There has to be a young actress that would be much better than the present one. Let's all email the producers.

I do not like this Lilly. I know she is the original Lilly but i liked her recast better. She was more interesting to watch. This Lilly is soo boring and soo self righteous. She has no chemestry with Daniel. I can see why they decided to give them problems in their marriage and may be headed for divorce.

They need to re-cast Lilly. Since shes grown and married now it would seem they would have her character act like her mother Drucilla. Dru wouldnt be taking no mess from her husband. if Neil were watching porn she would have his *** in a sling by now!! Get some mouth like your lovely beautiful mother who took no stuff!!!

Davetta Sherwood took that role and made it her own. She had great chemistry with Daniel and they really made you believe that they were in love. Now, you just wait for some real, raw emotion from Ms. Khalil.

I don't like this lily either! nothing to do if she's black or not, her acting sucks! It's ok if it was a teen show, i mean i saw her on that's so raven and it was perfect. She can't play this role good and to be dru's daughter cmon where's the fire? I liked the other lily she had fire! And it seemed daniel had more chemistry with her better.(the old lily)

You must be new to watching Y & R. Just like others have said she is the original. I like her & Daniel together and she looks African-American to me. Just because she's light skinned doesn't mean she's a miscast. Both her parents are light skinned on the show. The stand in Lily was much darker and didn't match them.
