i have monitor speakers and desktop speakers, can i connect both to my computer?

I am guessing you have a wire from each to connect to the computer. A simple Y connector like the one here

Use a headphone splitter at socket if you just want to use as "twin stereo" plug into seperate ports if the sound card supports surround.

IF you use former option, remember if the speakers are wires "out of phase" with the other set they will sort of cancel ewach other out. (if the coils are backwards relative to each other, so 1 cone goes in while the other goes out)

You can buy a y adapter and plug your speakers into it. Radio Shack will carry them.

Split the wire which is comming from the pc and connect it or if you do not want to cut the wire use the 5.1 or 7.1 sound card .

once you've a woofer then u want to connect the small audio equipment on the again of ur woofer and then connect the cable of the woofer to ur computing gadget contained in the first hollow of ur sound card
