Is EMO a type of music? My boyfriend says it's music, and he says that the guy who sings Hey There Delilah would be considered EMO music. I guess I thought EMO was more like dudes with black hair and eyeliner... like Fall Out Boy. Who can clue this old granny in?

I was clueless.and went to: ask.com. It said, amomg other things that Emo (music), is a subgenre of hardcore punk. EMO is a record album by Screeching Weasel. "Emo" is a song by Blink-182 from their Dude Ranch album
Under Non-Music
Electronic Money Order
Emergency Machine-Off
Extra Man Opportunity, a synonym for a lacrosse or hockey power play. Etc.
I didn't realize EMO could stand for so many things.
