Personally, I like Dwyane Wade better because he didn't choke on the NBA finals game 3 vs Dallas when they were down 13 with 6:30 remaining in the 4th quarter and people(including me) had already lost hope that miami would win. LeBron did what he could though but they still lost. I also like Dwyane Wade because of his crossovers. He makes defenders SLIP and he cannot be guarded!!! That's just my opinion though and i wanna know yours. : )

First, I would like to say Lebron has great potential and will become one of the greatest to ever play. However, Dwyane Wade is a better player than Lebron. Lets face it, Lebron has a very good upside to his game but his game is not as developed to Wade's. Lebron took too many long jumpshots we know he cannot make on a consistent basis throughout the NBA Finals. Although, he looks to pass in order to make his teammates better, there comes a time when the leader of the group needs to take over. I believe Dwyane Wade is a better defender, better shooter and better decision maker because he is not scared to be the "Play Maker" on his team. Yes, Lebron tore it up in the Detroit series but it does not mean anything if you do not follow up that same remarkable performance in the NBA Finals. Although Lebron seems to be a better pick than Dwyane based on size and potential, I like to believe it's not the size of the dog in a fight, it's all about the fight in the dog. With Dwyane Wade's offensive skills in combination with his passion to dominant and take over games, he has to be the favorite between the two future Hall of Famers.

D-Wade is better at this point. I don't care how good LeBron's numbers are. The bottom line is that they're both pretty damn good, and you can't really lose with either guy. I say use the eyeball test. We've seen LeBron explode in one or two play-off games each series, Including one of the best single game performances ever. However, Wade has done it virtuously every playoff game of his career. BTW he's been in the playoffs every year since he was a rookie. He's also been brilliant in every fourth quarter. Either way, I'm looking forward to watching these two reach their prime, and go head to head every year. Probably saving the league in the process.

1. it is ignorant to say lebron is better because he led a crap team to the finals where wade had shaq. it begs the question did they actually watch the finals last year and this year? dallas mavericks succeeded in making shaq a non factor - the guy suffered single-digit scoring, few rebounds, and foul trouble!
2. wade pulled off probably the most dramatic comeback of finals history in gm3, but u need to acknowledge that shaq hit two clutch free throws (how hard is that), and payton hit the game winner, though there's no doubt if payton didnt wade wouldve. lebron, facing a similar foe could not accomplish that in gm3, and certainly his teammates didnt change anything either (think varejao in the second last play in gm3). the other side of the miami comeback was their defence during that stretch was suffocating dallas, cleveland has improved defensively but are not at miami's level
3. finally, both wade and lebron's game look similar at first glance, but are very different playing styles due to playing different positions. on pure raw talent, i can see why people are hyped about how lebron has potential to be 'like mike' (jordan). however, in crunch time to take over the entire offence + defence like wade did in gm3 requires a belief in self and in the team (against almost impossible odds) which i have not seen any sign of in lebron james.

to answer your questions:
wade is better at clutch shots (fact is he's hit more)
wade moves more like jordan (wade studies jordan's moves)
both are fearless
what is a phenomenal playoff game is very subjective, but last year wade definitely gave more drama than lebron this year
perseverance is hard to measure and i believe it applies more to 7-game series with lots of overtime games
will power goes to wade again... he willed his team back into the finals and won.

noone impressed me more in the playoffs this year than jason kidd, if you watched the nets play you'll know what i mean. though most people dont see it, he truly carries his team and LEADS in a way that lebron can only dream he did so against the spurs. quote lebron: "he's the best point guard i've ever seen" - that's something considering lebron looks up to magic johnson. as for d-wade fans including myself :) let's hope he recovers soon, pat riley put him back into his natural point guard position (stop running him tired with screens!!!) and perhaps we'll see another magical playoff run.

James.

I'm not sitting on the whole King James bit, how he's the best thing since Jordan or the biggest offensive force...

Instead I think he beats Wade because he had to carry a team on his back. The Cavaliers had no real star except for Ilgauskas(even saying this makes me shudder). Given how he really put the NBA to fire and sword even with this responsibility, it really shows his capability as a player. It took him 3 years to get to the NBA finals. Jordan inherited a squad that was more or less in the same shape in '84. But it took Jordan getting Pippen and 4 years before he did the same.

I'm not saying that Wade cannot do the same, but seeing how he was sitting on the coattails of Shaq...

Dwyane Wade.

I love how some of you say D.wade has Shaq to lean on yet you're the same ones saying that shaq is too fat and old. Didn't Shaq contribute like 10 ppg in the NBA Finals last year and Wade had 35 ppg.

Also, wade HAS carried his team into the playoffs without shaq, he did it first year.

d wade is the man he take control of a game like no other he is great he has more will power the lebron dont get me wrong but i would pick d wade over lebron any day and i mean any day he has a better cross over ok the age factor but if lebron would have gon to college he would of not had the experince he has now because he does play with nba players rather then college kids

Why must it be D-Wade or King James? Wade has Shaq to lean on to win a title while LeBron has helped the Cavs overachieve for a mediocre team. They were both superior in their performance and utilized the best at what they were given as a leader so why don't we just leave it at just that. I personally like D-Wade and what he did last year a lot but I'm not going to shove it in LeBron's face because I respect what he has accomplish so far. Both are A+ graded players in my book.

ok, i'm getting your theory, yet Kwame Brown? it extremely is in basic terms disrespectful. LeBron James is greater efficient than Dwyane Wade. Kobe Bryant is greater efficient than Dwyane Wade. i do no longer prefer to initiate any arguments, i'm basically answering a query.
