I need a laptop that suits my budget around 30K or 35K . I would be using it mainly for programming and a little entertainment. I dont have much idea of the performance ratios between brands. Please suggest one. I've checked out Dell,Hp and Acer and cant decide what would suit.

What currency?
Consider the Asus A9R w/ CeleronM 440 (Yonah core). It is cheap but faster than most budget desktops.

I, personally, love Toshiba and Lenovo. Best systems I've ever purchased. Worth their weight in gold.
