You can press charges at any age. But the police will pay extra attention to a 13 year old being raped.

No, YOU can't press charges, but the STATE can. Even when an adult is raped, it's not the victim who presses charges, it's the state. You need to file a police report, and then the DA will take it from there.

No. As a 13 year old, you have less rights in this country than a felon. Luckily, your parents may be able to press charges for you.

you can press charges for rape no matter what the age, even if your older and you're both minors as long as its forced. As far as statuatory rape (doesnt even have to be forced if an adult has sex with a minor) yes you can press charges for that

Rape is rape is rape! No matter what your age, but you will need a legal parent or guardian to assist in representation in court. YOU will be filing charges though, let make that clear. It is YOU who will need to go the police, YOU will need to file charges, and whatever you do, make DARN sure you got some evidence!

Of course.

Even if your laws were to allow consensual sex between a 13 year old and an 18 year old, rape is a crime of violence, not consensual sex.

Call the cops as soon as possible.

of course! you can press charges against anyone who raped you. but only if you were raped and you didnt lead them on first or something. but if someone raped you--press charges now and dont let it go on any further.

If it is RAPE, forced, then yes. And if it was consensual but are trying to file rape because of the age difference than it depends on what state you live in. In Illinois it has to be 5 years and one day older to file rape on consensual sex.

Rape is a crime no matter what the two ages of the people are.

If you want to know what the age of consensual sex is in your state, just let me know the state and I can give you the most current law with regards to your state.
