Some people needs a little lightening-up!
For me, it was only that one time where a friend said something REALLY funny and I truly had the urge to shout out loud "LOL"!

Once, yes, and it was just a couple of weeks ago. I didn't plan on it - was just talking to a girl at work and she said something really funny, and without thinking, I blurted out, "LOL" (as in L. O. L. - pronouncing all the letters) which made us both then die lol'g. Fortunately, she is a texter too, so she found it hilarious. Obviously, it's a bad sign when you start thinking in net-speak...

Only when I'm talking about an answers on here or e-mail. I have also when I'm being sarcastic but the person I'm talking to doesn't understand my sarcasm. I'll be like, "LOL, I was joking." just to break the ice or awkwardness...
