At the negative electrode, silver is produced:

Ag+ + e- -----> Ag

At the positive electrode, OH- ions from the water are easier to oxidise than the nitrate ions:

4OH- ------> O2 + 2H2O + 4e-

Since OH- ions are consumed, the number of H+ ions will rise, due to dissociation of water:

H2O -----> H+ + OH-

The pH will therefore fall.
