i have a trane B-80 furnace with matching a/c unit. It doesent work good at all. its only 4 years old and there is hardly any cold air coming through the vents. the blower was on high and we switched it down to med/high it has freon and it has a new filter. there is no pressure pushing the air through the vents it seem's and the air is not as cold as it should be. do you have any ideas on what could becausing this problem

Turning the fan down would make the air colder, but reduce your cubic feet per minute outflow, the pressure will drop.
Measure the temperature of the air into the unit, and measure the temperature of the air coming out. If you don't have a 20* (+/-2*) difference, something is not working properly.
As a homeowner, all you can really do is clean the indoor and outdoor coils, change the filter. Anthing above that you will need to contact a reputable repair company and have the system serviced.

This happened to me and it was an obstruction in the hose leading from the house to the outside unit. I had called someone out to fix it and I think all he did was blow some air through it, seriously, it cost me $70.

it's possible that you may have a disconnected duct somewhere, if you aren't getting enough airflow through the vents. you can check by going up in the attic or wherever your duct system is located and checking to see if there are any ducts that have fallen off of the connectors.
