I need advice, i had unprotected sex and 5 days later?

I had unprotected sex, and 5 days later she said she was pregnant after taking a test. I am not the only one she was involved with. Is it possible to get pregnant 5 days after intercourse and test positive on a OTC pregnancy test?? I have read that it takes up to 6 days for the sperm and egg to join, then 6-10 days for the egg to atttach to the wall, then release that specific chemical that the pregnancy test reads. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

first , you should never have unprotected sex! ESPECIALLY if you weren't the only one she was involved with, what were you thinking? Anyway, we all learn the hard way. I have four grown up kids and I knew within days of sexual intercourse if I was pregnant, I never needed a test to tell me. In your situation I would wait for DNA after baby is born. Move on, don't get screwed up about this, wait and see. If it's yours then it's yours, take responsibility for the child, this doesn't mean you have to be with the mother. Get condoms free from your local family planning, keep some with you at all times. Next time it could be a sexually transmitted disease.

It sounds to me as if she's had unprotected sex with you solely to have someone to blame for her pregnancy. If I were you, I'd call her bluff and say fine, when the baby's born, you'll be happy to support it after you have had a DNA test proving it's yours. If it IS yours, you're going to have to anyway, but I would very much doubt it. This girl sounds dangerous and devious, and I think you'd be better to have no more contact with her - I'd be surprised if she follows through on this pregnancy claim once you've stated your case. Chances are, she'll find some other poor sucker who'll take the risk of a bareback shag and then be blamed for any pregnancy.

as far as i know it is not possible. the egg can join the sperm within a few days or even hours but it does take around 6 to 10 days for the fertilized egg to attach to the uterus

Pregnancy test can detect result only after a minimum period of 15 to 20 days.It may not be yours.In case of any dispute after birth of child,parent can be decided by DNA test and contested in court.

It's not possible to test positive after five days. The others have mocked her for being psycho and weird but I say she was simply mistaken or desperately wanting to hold onto you. Be decent to her and keep in mind it's not possible. And next time, use a condom.
