In scoring, a K means a strikeout, called 3rd strike.
A backwards k means struck out,swinging.
K,2-3 would be ,the batter struck out, but the catcher did not have control of the ball, and threw the batter out at first base.
K,PB, means the batter struck out, but was safe at first base because the ball got past the catcher, (passed ball)
On a strikeout, the catcher must "catch "the ball and hold on to it. If he does not, the ball is in play and the batter is not out.
Oh,.Kbf, means a batter bunted on strike 2, and bunted the ball foul, which is results in a strikeout.
If scoring for your pleasure, just use "K" and leave the complicated stulff to us control freaks who have to have it just right.

It means the batter is out as a result of a looking third strike called. The batter didn't' swing, and the umpire calls him out. It can go down just as "K", but backwards "K" is used to show the number of looking strikeouts.

'backwards K' is a baseball scoring term used (with the letter-K written backwards) when a batter stikes out looking at the ball without attempting to swing at STRIKE THREE distinguishing the difference between a batter who swung the bat.

A pitcher who gets a batter out on a called third strike is sometimes awarded a "backwards K", where the letter K is displayed in reverse.

some score keepers use a backwards K to show the batter struck out not swinging ( a big sin in baseball)

a backward "K" means nothing (if you are keeping score in a scorecard)...but some non baseball people use that as a way to express "called out on strikes" (which is offically Kc).
