Didn't you see "Finding Nemo?" Of course they can love one another....
Seriously, I don't think the cold blooded creatures of the land or sea actually feel human emotions. I do, however, believe that the warm blooded creatures develop and maintain an emotional attachment to mates and offspring that is very close to what we feel as love. Elephants grieve for mates, babies and members of their herd that die. Wolves howl for many reasons, one of which is to mourn a lost member of the pack.
In my own personal experience, cats and dogs will become sad and depressed when a companion animal dies or is taken away.

I didn't think so, until I had a perfectly healthy fish die when we stopped using the room it was kept in. We had set up a spare bedroom as a den. But when we moved the TV out, and quit spending time in the room, it died in just 2 months. Nothing wrong with it. I now have 2 fish in that same tank. They're fine. ( All were Fantail goldfish.)

Fish and other sea life can form mated pairs. Whether or not they actually love each other, or just following instinct can only be answered by a researcher....if they even know!

I don't know about other fish, but goldfish have a memory that lasts like 3 seconds. So maybe if it's love at first sight....again...and again....and again...

No, do you think they know sin, heartbreak, stupidity or even hatred? They just have the insecurities of nature, and the urges of reproduction, and basic living, they may be aggressive, and behave like they might, but who really knows for sure?
