Yes, I believe Whitesnake's "Still of the Night" is better than "Here I Go Again". Still of The Night" was a true metal hit. Even though "Here I Go Again" was a great chart topper and a mainstream hit, it was more of a radio friendly anthem rock song.

David Coverdale wakes each day wishing the our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that he could be Robert Plant... "Still of the Night" was his sincerest form of flattery. He even got to cozy up to Jimmy Page on COVERDALE/PAGE... then in step two of Jimmy Page's plan to get Robert Plant to tour and record with him again, Jimmy Page gave us "Live at the Greek"... supported by the Black Crowes no less. Finally, Robert Plant could stomach no more... thus we got "No Quarter-Un-Ledded" and "Walking into Clarksdale". What is my point to all of this??? Whitesnake is nothing more than a Zeppelin cover band... like Great White.

Personally, I prefer "Still of the Night" to "Here I Go Again." However, I think that they are both great songs. To be honest, this is a subjective question, so it will be impossible for anyone to give you a correct answer. Facts, mate.

I always thought so, too! How did "Here I Go Again" end up being their biggest hit?

I like them both... have you heard the earlier version of "Here I Go Again" from their "Saints & Sinners" album (1982)?
