My fiance and I are always struggling with baby boy names. The two we like are:
Phoenix Jude
Jacob James
What are your opinions or suggestions.

Two rather different names, if you don't mind me saying! But also quite nice.
It depends what kind of name you're going for.
Phoenix is a rather feminine name, which some will like, and other won't. I think its cute. But i can also imagine a masculine or manly middle aged man having a bit of a problem with it. The other problem is its a rather long name and can't be shortened into anything much, i guess you could go for "Phi" or "Nix". I don't really like "Phi" on a boy, though. Or, you could go initial wise- P.J, if you like that.
Jacob is a really nice name. Its sweet and cute on a little baby and boy, yet handsome and classy on an older guy. I think it would be a more formal name for your little boy. It can be shortened to "Jake" which is very cute. I think Jacob James sounds adorable together, and could be shortened to J.J.
I'd go for Jacob, but Phoenix is cute, too. Hope that helps! :)

All are biblical names except for Phoenix. I like the name James. These are some names that I like which u may also like..
Sean James
Michael Jude
Daniel James
Out of those two names that u have chosen. I like the Phoenix Jude. It's kind a unique. Good luck!!!

Phoenix is way too hippie and you would just be begging to have your kid harassed all through school. If it's between the two go with Jacob... besides J.J. is a good nickname.
I'm a big fan names that have "fallen out of favor"... go with popular names from about 120 years ago that are no longer used... by the time he's 15 whatever name you picked will be one of a kind for kids his age, but all over the place for younger kids. My vote would be for Levi.

I like Phoenix but I don't think Jude goes with it. Jacob James sounds like the same name have those be the first names and then come up with a cool middle name.

They are both cute.I also like the names Chase,Levi,Harley,for boys!I am leaning more towards Jacob James.
