Well, Bush promised the oil companies that they could have it at $5 by the time he leaves office. Finally, a promise Bush kept, and a truth he told. Write your Representative and Senator they are the only ones who can stop this legalized robbery. $21 BILLION first quarter profits.

If it would put Al Qaida and the Saudis out of business, by refusing to buy their oil, I would gladly pay $10 a gallon.
We have soldiers fighting terrorists financed by the money we spend on Middle East oil. The least we at home can do is help the war effort by making the arabs eat their oil, price be damned.
Put the fear of returning to a camel and fig economy into King Abdullah bin Saud's tiny little heart, and Islamoterrorists would disappear overnight.

Well, I don't have a choice but I can absorb higher fuel costs if neccessary. It just means I drive less and less which I guess is the intent of fuel suppliers. To be honest, what is making gasoline go above $3.00 is beyond me besides taxes. I mean the price of oil has been below 66 dollars a barrel and the cost of refining/ distribution is not that high. The price demands more refineries to enter the market place, but our current structure prohibits more refineries so this price is unfair in my eyes.

yes we have a choice. we can use alternative sources. it only costs one thousand dollars to change your tank to one that takes vegetable oil. and some places pay you to take away their vegetable oil. so you will make a profit. think about the tons of money that you will save by not having to buy gas. or better yet, ride a bike and use public transportation.

Hell, I'll take $5 per gallon gas. Over here it is about $2.00 per litre. Roughly 4 liters in a gallon (like quarts).

No, we do not have a choice at all. Especially if you live in a city where there there is very little public transportation. Like subways or taxis. I.E. Los Angeles.

Yes. It would mean a drop in price for me. When petrol is twice the current price, people will still buy it and still drive big cars. Go figure.
