Yes. Top position is Senate Majority Leader or Speaker of the House. Which means you are the chosen leader and are a member of the party that has the greatest number of members in the Senate or House, respectively.

There are other positions of course, Minority Leader, Whip, Of course Commitee Chairmen ( or chairperson if you want to be PC ) is a notable leadership position of course.
