Put up with it or leave him. There are your choices.

Why would calling 911 be out of the question whether you're a citizen or not? Is your husband also a visitor from Canada? If so, reporting him might be the best thing to do. I've never heard that before! If he's not Canadian but you're married there's no reason to not call someone - 911 or someone else.

You need to GET OUT one way of the other and he needs some help. There's no reason to put yourself and your son through this this kind of behavior. You and he deserve better! Get out!

Even though you are only a visitor to this country, you are still entitled to the rights to protection that the rest of us are. I would suggest contacting the authority to remove him from the residence until he has had time to cool down and you decide if you want him back or not. Considering there is a minor involved, and he has been abusive to him as well, they will have no problem escorting him away from the home. You will also have the option of filing for a restraining order if you are fearful that he may attempt to hurt you or your son again. If this is a one time event, you can keep him away from you until you feel safe letting him back into the home.

Don't let the fact that you're not a US citizen keep you from using what is available to you by right as a HUMAN BEING.

Sweetheart you can always call 9-1-1 no matter where you are from. The same rules apply in Canada as they do here ( well some) if you are being abused call the police.

If you really think they won't help hop on the next thig smoking to a Canadian Province....Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Foundland

Is your husband American? If he is than so are you. You need to catch him gone and leave. You shouldn't put yourself in that situation nor your son.Someone is going to get seriously hurt and it will probably be your boy, he didn't ask for all of this. You are the mom ,the protector ,he is the son the one that you should be protecting. If you decide to leave go far away and don't go back. If things get too bad you might have to call 911. Take care of you and your son and get away from the husband as soon as possible.

Even visitors to America are allowed to use 911. It is for emergency help, and that sounds like what you need. They will help you get to a shelter to live until you can find the help you need. Never hesitate to call 911 when you need emergency help. You can also contact your Human Services Department and explain your situation and they can tell you who you need to talk to. In this country, a woman never has to take being abused by any man, not even her husband. Good luck to you.

I am a male and I never harmed or pushed my wife and i owned everything, we just had a bad argument and I ended up out on the street, so you have an advantage if you play the victim and press charges. But I'm glad to see a man prevent himself from getting everything he's earned taken away from him. move on and find another sugar-daddy. your son will be with you until you are safe and secure, but he will still love and respect his father! I unfortunately have a son that pity's me, because I was taken for everything! it's not a good example for his view about women and relationship. at least your son will not disown you for being ruthless like my son does his mother!

You can call 911 if there is abuse. If you are here illegally that is a separate matter. You can file for citizenship if you want and you don't need a man to help you stay here. Think about your son and how you are teaching him that disrespecting women can sometimes be OK!

The Canadian Embassy can help you too. Contact them for your legal rights.

Immigrants have rights also. You can call the police. You won't be deported if you do. You have to think about your and your sons safety. If you still feel you can't call the police go to a shelter where they can give you assistance and contact information for people willing to help.
