They don't care when it's a democratic congress that isn't getting anything done, or has a lower rating then the president. Harry Reid has a 19% approval rating, but do they care? NOOOOOO.

No. Here's why...
The party balance for the Senate now stands at 51-49 in favor of the Democrats (including independent Bernie Sanders and Independent Democrat Joe Lieberman, who caucus with the Democrats). The Democrats need 51 seats to control the Senate because the Vice President of the United States, Republican Dick Cheney, would break a 50-50 tie in favor of the Republicans.
So, no, it does not irritate me. It's been less than a year so far. It will only climb, mark my words. Especially around 08'.
But hey, I did just realize what irritates me. People trying to find reasons why Bush doesn't suck the most. Because to me, he has clearly earned the right to that title.

It doesn't irritate me in the least. Why? Because it's not true. Bush's approval ratings are wallowing in the low 30% range. The Democrats in the Senate and House are averaging 42%. Of course, if you take the ENTIRE Senate and House, then the average drops to about 36%. Guess which party drags down that average ?

Well, define "popular". Popular means alot of people know about Bush, doesnt mean they like him. Saying Bush is a popular subject isnt always good.
I think its good that the Democrats aren't getting much attention for leading the senate. It means they havent f*cked up too much yet.

Yes and no. They're happy to have Congress by the hairs, but unhappy with the idiots they put in there.
Just like the Ratpublicans are disgusted with Bush.
Aint no difference in politics you know. They're all in bed together. I wouldn't be surprised if W woke up tomorrow and found Nancy Pelosi sleeping next to him and Laura Bush in the barcolounger downstairs.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news (well...not REALLY) but the Republicans in Congress have a higher disapproval rating than the Democrats.
Republicans - Disapproval 58%

Democrats - Disapproval 49%

Leave it to a Republican to think a 29% job rating
is more popular! Its only low for Democrats because
we're frustrated trying to knock down the stubborn
Republican wall they have built over the past 12 years...
But...Bush will keep going
DOWN....DOWN....DOWN
in his poll ratings...maybe he is
trying to make history...
as the LOWEST Presidential
job approval rating ever in history...
And he's taking the Republican party
down with him....alright Dubya!!!
