I'm on an Intel Core 2 duo 1.83 GHz MacBook. I've tried restarting it didn't come back. Help!

reinstall the network, or unplug your network card and plug it back in (even if it means you have to opne up the computer.

You think you ejected your network but that's not an option. If you don't see a network icon in a Finder window, it's not serious. While in the Finder mode, click on Finder > Preferences > Sidebar. Put a check next to Network.

About reinstalling the "network"? That also is not an option so forget it. About unplugging your network card? That also is not an option. It's integral with the main board.
