Two family members came into my house and played a recording of another family member that appeared to be upset. After 45 minutes of talking to me, one of the persons, said " Shoot the recorder". I asked them how can they come into my home and record me without my conscent?. I was so upset that they can do this to someone, especially your Aunt!
They won't give the tape back either.

They have a tape of another family member and of you? I would never let them into my house again. Obviously they are not to be trusted. Why was the other family member they played for you? They are probably playing your tape for other family members. They sound like sick puppies that you should stay away from even if they are family members. You should also tell the other family member whose tape they played for you, that they taped her.

Why so secretive about "family member"? Any reason you could not say brother4, sister, etc. Are you their aunt or is the tape they show you their aunt?

Don't let themback in your home until they give up the tape and apologize. This is an invasion of privacy and is extremely disrespectful. You could probably sue and several people will tell you to but that will just make the problem worse. Stand firm and let them know you have no time for disrespectful behaviour and taht they burned a bridge with you by acting this way then cut off all contact with them until they apologize and give up the tape.
