Do you let people see you CRY?

Rarely, almost never. I was taught by my father, who was a very cold abusive person.. that crying wasn't something men did and I should be ashamed of it. I know better now but for some reason, I feel weak to cry in front of other people so I guess maybe he did grind it into my brain and I can't let go of it all these years later.

but somtime you jst can't help it when the tears run down your face,like the other day i couldnt move my neck and my throat was sore and i couldnt swallow anything,and my stupid doctor pressed the back of my neck to see were the pain was coming from,and i cried then when i went into the chemist and the man was giving me my prescription and when he told me i had to take pills i started to cry like a baby, as i was rather emotional all day cos my body was in too much pain,so i tried to turn away and pretended i was yawning,lol,so that the didnt think i was crying!!!

i tend to cry in so many random places,never in the house when i'm on my own,it always has to happen when there are hunners of people round about!!they probibly look at me and 'say look at that feckin weirdo crying for nothing'lol

Yes.

A girl I was deeply in love with dumped me some years back. I was working in an engineering firm at the time (99% men) and literally spent a month crying. Not weeping and wailing, just quietly getting on with my work, dripping tears onto my keyboard.

The guys I worked with were a bit taken aback at first, and then incredibly compassionate and understanding.

Looking back at it now, it cracks me up.

I made up my mind I would not allow my mothr to see me cry when she thrashed me and I was about 8 years old, I have never cried since that day, came close a few times but never a tear from me.

no i hate letting people see me cry i don't no why but sometimes you cant help it as if your at a funeral and something like that but no one can really say anything as it is OK to cry it just makes people think you are weak that why i think its harder for a guy to cry....x

Crying is a woman s job some show while crying some hide and cry.I never cried till now.

No!! I do my best not to let people see me cry or in pain..Not my thing, I sure don't want people trying to feel sorry for me..

No I always try to hold it in and I will go to my room are to a room with no one in it or I would just cover my face. I hate when people look at me or even touch me when I cry those are the times I really need to get to myself and get myself together...smile

I normally manage not to, but today i had my heart broken. Every song was about me on the duke box. Embarrasing i suppose but it might be there turn next week and i will be their shoulder to cry on.
