My first suggestion would be that you look in the user guide. There's usually a section on troubleshooting tips. Or perhaps call the 1-800 number found in the guide and ask them what to do.
You can also try http://www.allexperts.com/browse.cgi?catLvl=3&catID=696 and see if they can help.

First, many air conditioners are on a different circuit breaker than the one in your house for other things. You might try checking for a unit near your air conditioner outside.
Second -- I felt really stupid my first year owning a house when the furnace wouldn't turn on. Their was a switch on the side of the blower, and it had been knocked to the off position. If you don't use a furnace, you may still have a blower inside. Check for a switch (ours looked like a light switch) on the side.
Good Luck!

Hello
If the breaker is on and the unit will not run, check to see if there is an outdoor disconnect near the unit. Make sure this is on. Or, with the breaker OFF, open the disconnect and make sure the fuses are okay if it has fuses. If you are comfortable testing electrical, you can use a tester to see if you have power coming from the breaker (with the breaker on) to the disconnect. If you are not comfortable with this, check your yellow pages for a reputable A/C service company. Ask for references.
Good luck.

Im not exactly sure what you are talking about but maybe I can help. Both my brother and I turned on our air conditioners/central air this year and both of us couldn't keep our house cool. I checked the filter and found out it was really dirty. My brothers was the same. Once we cleaned them, everything was working fine. Maybe you just need to clean your filters. I hope that helps! Its a pretty cheap fix. Good luck.

Both should be under a parts warranty maybe also labor. Call the company that installed them and have them give it a look. If it is the new one it may have never been set up if it's cold in march like it is in Wisconsin.

Have you unplugged the air conditioners and then tried another light/lamp/radio to make sure you are getting current at the outlet?? could be a loose connector with the renovation.

check to see if there is a gfic in the row of elecrtrical plugs,
comming from the circuit breaker box.
Sometimes the gfci is the culprit.
It can get tripped without anybody knowing about it.
Glad to help!
