Reyes is a better leadoff hitter but Soriano has more power and a heck of a arm!! Soriano would be better at the 2 spot with Pie hitting leadoff.

Reyes all the way. Soriano is as good as he is going to get and he doesn't always hustle. Soriano is a very good player but can fall into a funk and not produce for weeks at a time. Reyes is the most exciting player in baseball and has a huge upside. He is really going to have some career and put up monster numbers before he retires. He will never have Soriano type power but will settle in the 20-30 HR range every year. He is as good a defensive shortstop as there is with a gun for an arm. He can go into the hole on the third base side as good as anyone. Reyes has my vote.

Reyes is said to be the most exciting player in the MLB. But soriano is a damn good offensive player. They both can run, hit well for average, hit homers(soriano will hit more) and steal bases. reyes defense is much better and soriano does not play too good,,,,, i say Reyes

reyes. likeable kid, can run around the base pad faster than Soriano, better arm than Soriano and more exciting overall to watch Reyes play.
