I seen that! Harry Reid is at 30%! I'll bet the Libs aren't liking those polls too well right now.

It's all good! With such a small majority-and Republicans blocking everything in the Senate- and only 19% of the public thinking the Country is on the right track, and 68% fed up with King George the second-if history holds we will have a Democrat as President in the next election.
Good chance there will be a major housecleaning-and OMG we might have a woman President !
Whatever happens, bet we will choose a President that does't thumb his nose at the rest of the world, and live in a bubble.

Well the Democrats have promised the world like Bush did in 2004 and have delivered nothing.

People are tired of the game that both sides are playing in general. The candidate in the general election who appears to be the farthest from the game will win. Being a member of Congress or a former member of Congress makes a candidate automatically an insider.

They should feel bad. They showed that they did not have the guts to take on GWB and this illegal war against Islam. Their failure to impeach Bush makes them look inefficient. Maybe it is because their don't have the numbers. I believe in the 2008 election the people will give them that power. Unless we Republicans denounce the war we will be swept out of office. So far we don't have the leadership. It pains me that Hillary will be the next president but if a Republican candidate comes up with a solution to Iraq she will be.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news (well...not REALLY) but the Republicans in Congress have a higher disapproval rating than the Democrats. Kind of blows your whole question doesn't it?

Republicans - Disapproval 58%

Democrats - Disapproval 49%

EDIT: Look at those thumbs down just for pointing out the details. Guess the truth hurts - ouch! lol

I would hope that they still stick to their principles, get some things done, and then you can start paying attention to the polls. It's too early to pay attention to that stuff yet. The Iraq situation makes the entire government look bad and until it shows improvement people's confidence in government won't go up.

business as usual?

Congress almost ALWAYS has a lower rating...

it's very unusual it's so close... historically...

Rep. Congress had a low of 16 percent... no one really noticed or cared that much?

Actually NBC/WSJ has them at 23% but the GOP is also part of the the congress so the mud covers all of them.

They supported Bush with which vote? The one to bring the troops home that he vetoed or the immigration bill that he wants but they couldn't seem to pass?

they only won because the republicans were pissed, and boy is the u.s. sorry now. and that is an excellent question. where is all the support they said they enjoyed by all of america? HA!

but they dont see that, they see nothing. the are all in their own little demented lib universe where everyone gives each other hugs as they pass one another on their way to one of their trips around the world in jets paid for by us.
