Does any one know how long it will take to have a degree in business managment (to own your own business)?

You don't need a degree to own your own business. You just need guts. College teaches you theory.........the real world is practical exercise. You would do better to find a low risk, low start up business and learn by doing. The below sources will help.

A bachelor's degree is normally four years of full time study. If you want an MBA, it's probably a couple more years after your bachelor's.

There is no law that you must have a degree in business management to own your own business, although many of the things you'd learn could be very helpful.

You can own your own business without a degree. But if you want a degree in business you can do it in as little as 3 years and then in as little as 1 year for an MBA. Most people do it in 4, and 2 years for the MBA. So 4-6 years.
