I think women need to have someone over them to protect them and keep them from doing bad things. When women are sent to time out they realize they can't always get their way and they can't always act anyway they want. It is a very humbling experience that will hopefully cause them to grow to be a better person. She also hopefully will feel somewhat secure and safe knowing that she has a man there to make sure she behaves right.
