if your intention is for the other's wellbeing, the person you love
your actions will always dictate the love you intended to show.
but always try to make it simple as possible.
it's also a matter of individuality, how you express yourself more freely.
being creative, using time & effort that shows you value him more than anything else.
not necessarily putting him beyond everybody, but start putting the person self before you.
Yes you might need to leave a space in your heart for you alone, but give the biggest part to the one you love.
so do you like some flowers or concert tickets?

Small actions that show you are paying attention to their likes and dislikes, and that you care. The best way to let someone know that you love them is to say it often, but love will grow best through many small actions of consideration and kindness.
EXAMPLE: If they are always cold, sit close to the air conditioner to shield them
If they love blue ice pops, make sure to hand them that color
Make a place for them to sit next to you
Pay attention when they are talking.
Look up or get up when they come in to a room, and when they leave.

There are five ways to express love. Physical, gifts, doing things for others, verbal affirmation, and spending time with them. Examples of physical is hugs, holding hands, snuggling, being near someone, etc. Gifts - chocolate, flowers, jewelery, etc. Doing things for them - doing their chore(s), cooking dinner, washing their car, etc. Verbal affirmation - "you did such a great job," "you're the man," "you did the best," etc. Spending time - talking, going to the movies together, doing jobs together (anything that you clearly did not have to do and shows that you took the time to hang with them). Everyone has a different one that they feel loved from, so its your job to find out, and sometimes if your lucky there's more than one. Also it helps a lot if you can apply it to their personality, like if they like to play basketball and they feel loved when you spend time with them, play a silly game of basketball with them. Good luck.

Focus on the person and listen to what is important to him. Also, make a mental note of the little things he says he likes. For example, if he likes the symphony, surprise him with tickets to a local performance. That's a little simplistic, but if you tune in you can determine what would be a simple nice gesture. Nothing grand - just thoughtful. This comes natural when you fall in love.

A kiss, a caress, holding hands... When you can literally feel the electricity flowing as one through you and your partners body.

--- write a poem
--- appreciate that person's attitude/behaviour and let that person know that you are eagerly waiting for a person with a similar attitude/behaviour in your life.
for ex: if your lover sings good, then say.. "God! I wish I have a person who sings so well as you in my life as my partner"
--- say it with your heart and let him/her feel that through ur eyes.. and yes it will truly work out .. a bit complex though :)

If love and compassion are your intent, your foundational intent of interaction, then everything you do with and for the person will express that love and compassion from every facet.
