Yes! Baby's need to bathed everyday. Sometimes twice a day if they throw up and or have a mess the other way. It's ok they are just smaller versions of us..Listen to your wife she is the momma!

OMG!!! yes it is ok, not only are u gonna have a clean baby but a happier one too, imagine how unconfortable u would be if u dont take a shower when is hot, and if the baby sweats and u don't bathe him/her that sweat can cause skin irritations and rashes, babies also sleep a lot better after a nice warm bath at night.. u should bathe ur baby EVERY DAY!!! specially when is hot! and if u live in a dry place make sure that u put lotion on his/her skin to avoid dry rough skin.

We would bathe our child several days in a row. The one thing you do want to watch is that the soap you use has some type of moisturizer in it. My daughter would get a few patches of dry skin, and that really would help out a lot. My daughter is just over 2 now, and it is not always uncommon for her to get 2 baths a day. Sometimes a shower in the morning with me or my wife, we have no say in that part and anyone with a 2 year old will tell you they do what they want, and then a bath at night.

Its not so much going to hurt the baby but its really not necessary. Unless the baby is mobile and really crawling around otuside and such, bathing every other day or so is just fine. That beign said, it really won't 'hurt' the baby unless the water is too hot (get one of those temp things from target or walmart that tells u if the water is too hot. Its like a rubber duck and it turns colors when its too hot.)
The baby may be sweating some and that's ok, wiping down with a wet cloth is fine too. But my son loved bathes and took one almost every day at that age with me. Now he showers every day with daddy! (he's 21 mos).
Best of luck

Sure, it's fine to bathe a baby every day. As long as the water temp isn't too hot. You bathe every day, so why can't he? Soon enough he'll be arguing with you about taking a bath ever, so don't worry.

I have given my son a bath everyday since his belly button fell off, he's 14 months, and he's fine, soft baby skin and everything.

I bathed my baby everyday starting when the cord stump fell off. I just used gentle baby soap and really good lotion. Her skin never dried out.

yes but no need to use baby wash or shampoo every day it will dry out your baby's delicate skin.I have a 11 month old and bathe him every day and have no problem. He loves to just play in the water.Hope this helps you.Take care and enjoy your baby! They grow up so fast!

Yes, but you shouldn't have to. Bathe the baby if it's dirty, not to cool it down. To cool and baby (that is not feverish, just a hot day) use lukewarm wet cloths. Bathing a baby every day is pretty hard on their delicate skin.
