I assume that you are having seizures and have not seen a doctor yet. One of the most common causes of seizures is epilepsy. During this episodes a region of the brain produces abnormal electric impulses that make your body shake without control(grand mal seizure). In order to get a precise diagnosis , you should consult a neurologist. Usually he will use an electroencephalogram as diagnostic tool. I recommend you do not drive or operate power tools until your condition is diagnosed and controlled and your doctor authorizes you.You can also get a seizure from drinking too much and I have seen people convulse during a fatal heart attack. Other times there are no convulsions but the person feels disoriented and cannot coordinate his thought process (petit mal)

My granddaughter had mild seizures for a while caused by an illness that is now controlled with antibiotics. I think misuse of drugs can also cause seizures, and I have heard of overuse of video games and television viewing causing them also.
Check with your doctor or nurse, and don't be afraid if you think you are having seizures. They can usually be controlled. You just need to educate yourself about what is happening to you.

Epilepsy. Its a serious medical condition that can be successfully managed by medication and a sensible lifestyle.
