Your baby might be extra senstive to the probing of the ultrasound equipment so there might not be a way to keep him/her from being so active.
You can try to see if there is a pattern with your baby's movements and maybe schedule the ultrasound for a time of the day when you think baby might be calm.
Or you might not want to eat before the ultrasound. I always had a snack or a meal before my visits (so I wouldn't have a growling tummy) so my babies were very active during the exam.
Could you try a change of position or maybe walking around a little to soothe the baby to sleep?

mine was crazy at the ultrasound too. They finally were able to tell though.
Maybe try gently swaying for a few minutes before the ultrasound happens to calm the baby. Maybe he/she will go to sleep! Good luck!

Did you drink anything with caffeine or eat/drink something that was high in sugar right before your u/s? This could be the reason. Or you just might have an active baby. My baby was active on almost all my u/s. ( I had about 10, due to being high risk)

Babies are constantly moving regardless if an ultrasound is being done. I don't think there is really anything you can do to keep it from not moving so much.

consume precise earlier you pass on your appointment. And take a bottle of juice with you and sip on it each now and then in basic terms to maintain some sugar flowing to the toddler. And once you lay down for the ultrasound relax as much as achieveable, the greater you relax the greater wakeful your toddler would be, the greater you progression around and walk the greater he would be rocked to sleep by utilizing your strikes. So walk around lots till approximately half-hour earlier your appt. so your toddler sleep for the period of maximum the day and he will awaken once you cool down and relax, plus the sugar kick he gets from the food and juice will perk him precise up! good success and congrats!

All I can say is my first didn't move at all. Made it extra difficult to try and find out what it was. Then my second baby moved lots, so couldn't find out. i just took it as a sign that I wasn't supposed to know til I had them.

probably just adjusting to something being poked in his/her bubble. My baby does the same thing when i try to listen to her heart beat w/ my monitor thingy. I don't know if there is anything to do about it or not.
Good luck and congrats.
