How do I go about looking up an old friend?

We were friends in Elementry and Jr High in Salt Lake City Ut.
Ronda Calishaw moved to go to a different High School... I think it was Brighton High in 1977. From there I heard she moved to Oregon... I am moving to Oregon and I really want to look her up but I have no idea how. Any ideas?

Since you were friends in school, one of the first places to check is with classmates.com. That way, even if she isn't registered today, you would have registered and she can find you later.

Zabasearch, myspace and others (like veromi.com) are good places to try too, but remember that she may well have married by now. Try looking for her parents or her siblings instead of just her.

Finally, since you were both from Salt Lake City, there is a good chance that one of the two of you is a Mormon, so try checking at the family history centers and go to a youth group meeting at the temple in Portland and ask questions there. The name is a vary rare one, so you might also try genealogy.com - they have surname forums where you could ask if anyone knows her or is related to her and see if they would pass along your interest in reconnecting.

Other than myspace, google, etc.. a lot of the places to look people up cost money. I agree about looking into her family.
I personally do not like classmates.com because as soon as i signed up I got a ton of spam from them.
